We've added image services to the NC OneMap Geospatial Portal showing post-hurricane imagery for the Outer Banks. Simply go to the geoportal and search on "Irene."

There are two services available. One is from NC Dept. of Transportation and the other from NOAA. They are both available as ArcGIS Server 10 image services and WMS. The imagery shown was flown on August 28 and 29.

In addition to the services, we created a Flex app to view the hurricane imagery in conjunction with the 2010 statewide orthos. It includes a swipe tool you can use to slide the hurricane imagery on and off so you can compare "before and after." The URL is: data.nconemap.com/geoportal/hurricane_irene/index.html.
