Abstract:

The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Division of Water Quality developed the digital Animal Operation Permits data to define the location of animal operation permits throughout the state.

Purpose:

This data was created to assist governmental agencies and others in making resource management decisions through use of a Geographic Information System (GIS).

Supplemental_Information:

Spatial data accuracy varies greatly in this data layer due to the inaccuracy of some latitude/longitude coordinates used for compilation.
