Point locations were generated using geocoding in Arcview from the community college address list on the website www.ncccs.cc.ns.us (website for the NC Community College System). These locations were verified using aredit using DOQQ orthophotography images as a backcover This digital file is updated as changes occur.
Community College Locations were generated using geocoding in Arcview and further refined by repositioning point according to DOQQ imagery.
These data represent the locations of Community Colleges in North Carolina as listed by the NC Community College System.
Using ESRI's ARC/INFO GIS software, the dataset was built for point topology using the "build" command. Topology has not been edited since the last build or clean.
